Abstract: There are several hundred copies of MARINERN2_AG in the genome. They are ~98% identical to the consensus sequence. Some copies are 99% identical to each other. MARINERN2_AG copies are flanked by the TA target site duplications. This element has imperfect 46-bp terminal inverted repeats. Putative classification: a nonautonomous Mariner/Tc1-like DNA transposon.
