Title:
ATHATN9, a family of non-autonomous HAT transposons.
Journal:
Repbase Reports 1:(3) p. 32 (2001)
Abstract:
The ATHATN9 copies are ~95% identical to the consensus sequence. It is a subfamily of HAT-like nonautonomous DNA transposons. ATHATN9 has 14-bp TIRs (one mismatch) and is flanked by 8-bp target-site duplications. There are three copies of ATHATN9 in the genome. There is a 68% identity between the ATHATN9 and ATHATN8 consensus sequences.
