Abstract: ATGP10_I is an internal portion of ATGP10, a gypsy-like retrovirus which was integrated into the genome long time ago; its LTRs (deposited in Repbase as ATGP10LTR) are 90% identical to each other. Two ORFs, which have encoded GAG and POL polyproteins, are saturated by false stop codons and frame shifts.
